What I want to know is if Uruguay can be the place to live and travel to others Countries in the Area ? Trackbacks

Absolutely.. and once you have residency you can travel to Argentina, Brasil and Paraguay with just your Uruguayan ID (ie: leave your passport at home).There are direct flights to Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Chile and Panama. There is also good bus service if you prefer that means of travel.

Uruguay is probably your best choice for a place to live... and of course you can visit the other places as you wish. You might even chose to spend the coldest 3 months of the winter here some place a bit warmer in Brazil. That way you can enjoy the warmth without the hassles of Brazilian residency.
