I think that this is a good idea for people who are interested in the local news and information in this area, and instead of watching the news or buying a newspaper they can come here and read what you have posted.

That is almost three years ago. What is the latest from Belize then?As of July this year, Health Depatment Officials had confirmed 23 cases of swine flu. As of May, such incidences had not been reported yet
David, you can get a hand on most of the curent events online; and these are often updated frequently. I am not however certain that they will always be interesting.

The threat of swine flu seems to pacify in some developing countries like in Asia were there are increasing number of dengue cases when rainy season occurs starting September. However, those number of deaths are still alarming, we should be aware and get fresh news, thanks for that link moy and for that post as well,
But you know, sometimes i don't want to read news, they are all pointing and talking about negative and bad stuffs..

I hope that the swine flue doesn't cause too much havoc in Belize as this country is surely a very beautiful one, naturally so, and in all its splendor.

In Belize, I believe that the situation is the same as in most other places in the world. It is very much a serious case that should not be taken lightly for a single second.

News in all country are basically the same only there is more of a concentration on different problems. I just hope the visual news or pictures shown are not too graphic to desensitize the country from the severity of crimes.

You have a point there Weng. I also have this scary feeling when I hear some dreadful news about deaths, diseases, outbreaks, murders, calamity etc etc. Everyday when we wake up we see those news, and I wonder when would be the day that when I wake up, there would be no more bad news but all good news. I wish that day could come as soon as possible. Ciao..
