The first thing I saw on that link was how the Christmas trees in Belize are decorated with tiny boats to signify their success in the fishing industry. No brightly colored bulbs?

Interesting that the tree decorations are done using boats to symbolize how successful the fishing industry is in Belize. I think they need a bit of diversity in decoration..a bit of color and stuff like that. However, the deer dance is a creative idea.
The thought of cleaning homes and buying new stuff in the holiday season is a good idea.
Is there a more detailed site?

"Christmas in Belize(:*_"
Christmas in Belize is very different from what some Americans I know do. Belizean poeple lock doors and play very unknown games to Americans. There is one tradition that the Belizean poeple do. They celebrate a day called Las Posadas. It is were you lock your doors, turn out all of the lights in the house and before you turn out all the lights in the house you find a place to hide and when the lights go out you cant get up or do anyting, you have to stay still for the who night until 5:00 am in the morning for Christmas. Thats a while.
