I bought a apt. in Medellin 2 years ago. I just recently sold the Apt. and made a profit. When I bought the Apt. I transfered the money in the U.S.A, so I never registered the money here. What happens if i put the money in a bank here in Colombia and then try to send it back to the States. WILL I BE TAXED OR WILL I HAVE A PROBLEM.

That would seem to be a question for a good accountant in Colombia, not public discussion.
