| Fewer Restrictions = More Developmental Problems in Kids?
Business, Mexico
DianaR from USA -
I heard that a lot of US corporations have opted to move their factories to Mexico because there are fewer environmental standards to meet. I guess this means the companies can dump whatever they want into the water supply, but it might not stop there.Because of the companies polluting, are Mexican officials seeing and increase in birth defects and developmental problems in children? Have congenital deformities increased? Trackbacks

I don't think that's what it means. Lower restrictions doesn't mean no restrictions at all.

No it means fewer which means the likelihood for those kinds of actions are much more likely. But at the very least the actions are hazardous to the health of citizens.

And bribes and nepotism allow these companies to side-step those fewer restrictions and regulations.

Do you think US companies should be punished for offering bribes to government officials? Do you think there is enough evidence of bribery that could support a class action?
