That isn't as bad yet as what we have in our country. When it rains even for just hours, the streets are already flooded. Imagine in front of our house, the water can go as high as 5 feet in just hours. Good thing our parents built and set our house higher than the street. Yet the worst typhoon last year allowed water to still enter our living room.

A lot of cities experienced that kind of situation. Perhaps Belize needs to reconstruct the infrastructure so that it will not affect the city in time of natural disasters. The government officials should give proper action to prevent high floods. Otherwise, it might give a bad impression most especially to many vacationers visiting the country.

I was just fortunate that it was a good season when I visited there.

That is true. Since the country expects lots of visitors each year, it is important that these issues be addressed. I am sure that this incident really had a great impact in the country. But still, that woudl never take away the beauty and natural attraction of the country form those people who wants to have a visit in the country. Thanks a lot and have a great day ahead to all of you guys.

I can still vividly remember when I was stranded on my way home almost 2 years ago because of typhoon Ondoy. Its international name was Katrina, I think. I rode a train and when I was about to go down to the streets, I saw that it was flooded everywhere and the water was up to people's chest! I stayed at the train station for hours until the floods subsided. I was scared back then.

Belize is definitely the place where I want to spend my retirement period. It has lots of interesting tourists spots and travel destinations that ca satisfy the stay of the tourists and so as its people. I know that people around Belize especially in Belize City are so thankful to be in such a great place. I am really looking forward of visiting Belize some other time.

Have a great day.
